These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RetireMap website and tool (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Babao Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RetireMap is a free, browser-based retirement planning calculator. It is provided solely for educational and illustrative purposes. All calculations run locally in your browser. No data is transmitted to any server.

2. Not Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

RetireMap does not constitute financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. The projections and estimates produced by this tool are based solely on the assumptions you enter and are inherently uncertain. They do not account for all variables affecting retirement outcomes and may not reflect actual future results.

You should consult a qualified financial advisor, certified public accountant, or attorney before making any retirement planning decisions. Reliance on the output of this tool without independent professional advice is solely at your own risk.

3. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CALCULATIONS ARE FREE FROM ERRORS OR OMISSIONS.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BABAO SOFTWARE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50).

5. Regulatory Figures

Contribution limits, RMD ages, Social Security rules, and other regulatory figures displayed by the Service are based on the law as understood at the time of the most recent update. Tax law changes frequently. Always verify current figures with the IRS, SSA, or a qualified professional before acting on them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or scrape the Service for commercial purposes.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm the Service or its users.

7. Intellectual Property

The RetireMap name, brand, and all original content and code created by Babao Software LLC are our property and may not be reproduced or used without written permission. The underlying calculation logic and UI are proprietary.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page.
